woohoo this has been a really great week! last saturday, watched 300 with benny. pretty good, but if i rmb correctly, almost the entire show was in slow-mo. haha if they played it all at normal speed, the show duration would be cut by half!

played soccer with church against some malay team on sunday. haha gayness! herng liang was there too. and we lost 2-0 hahaha! and made new discoveries too after the game! me hl and liang sheng were walking out to the main road and it was like we were the only ones NOT walking in couple style. the rest all left with their boy/girlfriend haha so slyyy.


went to kevins house on mon to play his wii! err we were supposed to meet at parkway at 12 plus i think, but everyone was super late la. eh i was really gonna be on time that day! in the end only me rong and kev had lunch at boogerking at parkway. haha havent had boogerking in ages! sebas piu and ren came laterrr. and we were fiddling with kevin's macbook. spamming pictures and filming retarded videos and posting them on youtube (omg!) and play mahjong and of course played wii! haha we actually wanted to go some german restaurant for dinner but sebas had pizza craving so we went to pizza hut la and we had rootbeer float there haha! also something i havent had in a longg time!


ok erm tuesss.. yea met ivan and greg my section buddies at vivocity. ivan is like everything branded sia. armani exchange belt, prada wallet, guess watch. and his motto is "anything shiny is nice" hahaha! and greg spends most of his money on foood! and i think candy empire is his favourite hangout :p had dinner at thomson with dan chia and charm after that! too many good food there so we had a hard time deciding where to eat! we all agreed we had enough of crabshack though hahaha. not that its bad la. settled for some dim sum place. and went to the strudel place for dessert! where we got cheated cos we got peach strudel when we ordered apple. and since danchia brought his macbook along, we spammed pictures AGAIN. ha ha. and we viewed the pics of he and his __ in slideshow mode which made him super embarrassed hahaha!




wed was a boring day. had to deliver some stupid clothes to my sis in ntu cos she had an upcoming presentation. all the way to boon lay and back leh. oh well better get used to it. gonna be travelling that way much more since im posted to sispec. ohh and met up with my section mates at night for supper at newton! after that gothic drove us in his car to yishun dam to chill and talk cock. after that he drove us homeee.




thurs.. went back sch with sebas and kev to find teachers for testimonial/letters of recommendation. haha mdm lee still as funny as ever!! she said if she were to write my letter of recommendation, her teeth would have alot of gaps. cos she would be lying thru her teeth!! rushed down to smu with sebas after that for some scholarship talk and high tea with the deans. haha i dunno why i was so tired during the talk i kept nodding off. hope i dont appear sleeping in any of the pictures the photographer took! but smu sounds quite pro eh! and the no bond scholarships also sound pretty attractive. haha lots of familiar faces at the talk too! hung around abit longer with herngliang and charm, who were also at the talk. then went to see her workplace at marina sq. ended off with supper at gluttons bay after her work!


todayy was super stressful and tiring man! haha lots of rushing here and there and worrying whether or not i should call ms carol and whether my mail can reach nus on time and stuff. luckily kanesh saved my ass. and mr fong too! hahaha yea at least its settled now. i hope :p


there! 1 whole week of activity eh! oh ya posting today was kinda expected la. err dunno if i should be happy or sad. but life goes on? haha! but i really could do with an 8-5 vocation!

argh reall tired now. just came back from supper with army buddies. gothic drove most of us home. but he didnt drive me all the way! he dropped me and khairi both at toa payoh. and i walked from the stadium to khairi's house, then to the bus stop outside sajc. and thought to myself "im gonna take forever if i walk home from here" so i flagged a cab home. so much for saving money. haha and newton food centre is really a ripoff. and i think i gotta watch my diet from now on haha! havent been doing so and havent exercised for long timeeee! argh gotta sleep now. update tmr la i think!

bmt's over! pop loh!

wheeeee thats the end of bmt! gonna miss my section mates lots! last night tiger and khairi went around pranking everyone in the platoon la. basket! actually at first we pranked tiger by stealing his towel and clothes while he was showering. hahaha then he had to return to the bunk with nothing on his ding dong bell!!! and we locked the bunk door as well. hahahaha i guess he had his revenge after that. while everyone was sleeping he went to put black camo cream on our faces la. this morning when i woke up, i saw kian tat walking into our bunk with camo on his face and i stared at him, he said "dont stare at me like that, ur face also have". hahahaha true enough, when i looked in the mirror. and lucky i happened to look into my slippers before wearing them! cos khairi went around putting shampoo on ppl's slippers! later he told me that when he woke up in the middle of the night to go toilet (after pranking everyone's slippers), he met someone else in the toilet washing his slippers!! haha. and khairi also put shampoo on ppl's toes while they were sleeping la. i myself felt my toes were quite cold and wet in the middle of the night but i thought it was just my blisters or what, and couldnt be bothered cos i was too damn tired. hahaha.

oh the funniestttt part!! tiger wrapped himself in a white towel and went bed to bed while everyone was sleeping. came to mine too! haha i rmb waking up and seeing this white ball sitting on the edge of my bed! but i was totally not scared la cos i knew at once it was tiger. haha so obvious its him! cos he started bouncing up and down the bed and making squeaky noises. and i can recognise his voice la! so i just said "eh go away la tiger i know its u. i very tired leh i wanna sleep" then i just rolled over and carried on sleeping. little did i know he went to put camo on my face la basket. haha but thats not all! this morning when everyone woke up for breakfast, got hot gossip about this other malay guy from another bunk in my platoon called fauzie. i guess tiger went across all the bunks to disturb everyone la. and they were saying fauzie was really freaked out by tiger. first he started asking tiger to "go away la, it's my last night sleeping here in tekong leh." then after some time he got abit scared and said some prayer in malay or smth. then after that he supposedly screamed! hahahhahha.

about guard duty.. was pretty upset that i got selected for weekend guard duty on sunday. but now i realise it isnt so bad after all. cos khairi got selected for guard duty tmr, which means he gotta go back after passing out. sad lehh. but weekday guard duty are 12 hr shifts while weekend gotta di 24 hr. its like 2hr duty, 4hr rest, 2 hr duty again on and on until the 24hr is up. and we could choose either sentry or prowler duty. sentry is like just stand at the jetty and watch for suspicious ppl la. prowler gotta walk round and round the school. and my buddy so cleverly volunteered to be prowler, so i had to join him prowling la. why? cos he wanted to see "exciting" stuff at night, especially after hearing all the stories about the obstacle course area, what lady in white/red sitting on the wall or smth. wah walk until dunno how many blisters come out la. and my pinky toenail dropped out. so now im toenail-less. how cool is that. but we did drop by the canteen to buy some snacks while on duty hahaha lucky nv get caught :p and during break time, i read up quite abit on the scholarship and career magazines. but i still dunno what to apply for leh!! so irritating! its like if i make a wrong choice then its like screwing up my future right!

hmm oh ya dad and sis came to my graduation parade today! had a downpour just before it was about time to begin and i was quite disappointed. like if really parade cancelled due to rain, then all our rehearsals would be a waste. luckily the rain died down. but we were already quite drenched la. haha ok some pics taken by my sis! havent posted pics for long time!

and just came back from supper with my family! i think i've learnt to treasure times like these much more after entering army. had durian and you tiao and soya bean and bean curd and shao1 bing3 (hot biscuit after direct translation). wah looks like im set to fail my next ippt man. oh did i mention i got silver for ippt yay! but doubt il be going to ocs. aiya but whatever la i just hope this 2 years end quickly! alright.

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! was totally sstunned when i heard my name being called by lim chye tin today. and it feels dam goooood to get this burden off my shoulders!! ive been really worrying the past few days bout my results la. seriously. i thought bio was totally out of the question too cos i rmb i only wrote i think half a page for my entire essay questions! i dunno how it turned out like that, but all i can say is God answers prayers!

soooo yea got special mention for being an sas boy. and doing pretty well again in jc.

can still rmb the few hrs before our results were released, we were nervous like shit la! me sebas and kev watched "the pursuit of happyness" in the morning. haha to supposedly make ourselves happy before getting results. but its such a sad show!! really really touching! by the time rong joined us for lunch at carls jr, we were panicking already hahaha. kevin kept saying "if i get bcc or bbc i jump down already" and all his nonsense about his bets with other ppl, like if he get dunno what grade then ppl must treat him lunch. then if he get gd grades also ppl will treat him. then its like he get any grade also will have ppl treat him lor hahaha.

at first when we reach sch and saw cw's face, i thought its game over for me. she like so serious face like that la hahaha. then lim chye tin went thru the % passes and A-B for each subjects. then for the sciences were all like 50% A and Bs and i thought i was a goner. and gp only 10 or 11% distinction some more!

and yeaa many ppl did extremely well too! haha and sas boys were pretty gd ok!

oh ya and i got UNGRADED for maths s paper hahaha. when i told that to my dad, he didnt understand what ungraded meant!! he thought there was some marking mistake or smth then no grade come out hAHahahah!!

heh gotta sleep soon! booking in at discovery centre tmr morning at 845. they should have this every week la! then i got the whole sunday free. if not its always such a rush on sundays. today was great! had a nice and warm steamboat at home with family! had codfish, bacon on top of the usual stuff.

met sebas and peiyu this afternoon too. was supposed to watch dreamgirls but didnt cos too little ppl and no timings la. haha yay peiyu wants to watch letters from iwo jima also! i thought most ppl find that kinda show boring, but i like! and was also too late when me and sebas went to check timings for ghost rider at the cathay so didnt catch that either. so all we did today was eat and shop, which was pretty fine with me! sebas got a new pair of puma shoes la basket. i found a nice mat pair also hahaha but no my size la basket!! i must get my hands on them soon! haha it has wierd words written all over it like "im lonely i like purple i am from earth" dunno wad la. dam cool la and only $59 haha. ok not exactly cheap but, i havent shopped for real long! and saw a nice nike bag also. dunno whether its considered a tote or what la. but also can double as a backpack. ahhh too much shopping wants! finally had japanese sauce noodles from taka basement today too! and the dunno what yummy ice cream from the same place. haha peiyu says i always choose the icecream flavours that look like shit, literally! esp those dark choc and stuff haha!

yesterday had a mini gathering at ren's house. with rong peiyu and kevin. haha i brought my brownie cookies for them la. then walao it became a punishment for whoever lost at heart attack/bridge. that bad meh?? haha and kevin spent most of his time there doing a super hard sudoku puzzle. i think he only filled less than 5 boxes throughout the entire time there la hhaha. then went to meet benny in the evening. and realised its a bad idea to have ice kacang right before a movie cos u will freeze before u even sit down in the cinema! we had time before our show so we walked around outside ps and cathay all the way to smu to warm up from the ice kacang haha. watched protege! really gd show, kinda like infernal affairs in a way, but not so much flashbacks. and benny is a bloody paedophile he keeps saying the little girl dam cute hahaha! which i agree is true la.

hmm oh about sitest, i think it was ok la. but dont tthink i really excelled in my missions. got a really tough mission when it was my turn man.

and 7 out of 13 of my section mates got confined this weekend man! haha thats more than half! khairi said they had a fun time during confinement some more sia. haha actually not bad leh when so many ppl kenna confined together. like party like that lor!

alright! the past few days have been great! spent the majority of the time with my family in malaysia. ate LOTS and LOTS of new yr goodies. and i finally got to keep my ringgit angpaos!

met up with rong peiyu kevin kanesh and sebas on the night i booked out! for a veryyyy short while only tho. i reached there late for a 10pm show EPIC MOVIE. heh. bad show. i would have given it negative rating man. the first few jokes were ok, then it got lamer and lamer. after the show ended i was like YAY. went to yoshi to sit around for awhile before everyone left.

ok i think i shall blog a little bout field camp! ok firstly the combat rations food is pretty edible leh! and they got all kinds of exotic names for the food like oregano chicken pasta, chicken pongtay rice, glutinous rice with rendang chicken.. not as disgusting as ppl made them out to be la! eat already wont vomit wan la. and got dessert some more! i love the green bean with coconut milk!

ok erm sleeping conditions? got to sleep in bashas for the 1st 2 nights. didnt really like bashas cos its so cramped inside. and my basha was ontop of this rocky area so it hurt my back when i slept haha! the next 2 nights were on groundsheet without shelter. i think its the best la! no cramped feeling and not stuffy and can see the stars also! haha yes so exciting we spent valentines day like that!! with my buddy lying on the groundsheet looking at stars omg so ghey!! yes and on the last night we had to dig a hole, sort of like a coffin. deep enough such that the body is completely below ground level. digging that thing took half a day la!

hope i dont get confined! cos there was once i left my rifle unattended when i went to throw rubbish. then the turban sergeant guy noticed. argh i cant believe i was so careless la basket!

field camp!

had a really SHORT weekend! it just flew by like that! wont be booking out next week too cos i'll be having field camp. so only coming out on chinese new yr weekend! and prob wont get much time to meetup u guys cos i'll be going malaysia from 17 to 19 feb i think. hmm hope i survive the next 2 weeks!

attended benny's church service yesterday. was great! the message was about perspectives haha. and the bible passage was about caleb and joshua. went for late late late night movie with benny after that. blood diamond is a gd show! but was too tired and fell asleep a bit during the show. quite sad, esp about how they train kids to kill and stuff. by the time i reached home, was 3 plus already. slept at 4 and woke up this morning at 7.50 to rong's phonecall. ahhh super sleep deprived! met her fawn and sebas at serene macs for breakfast. this weekend ive been eating non stop fast food! last night had long johns, plus macs this morn, and kfc for lunch! yea we all went to fawn's church after breakfast. nice going back to the sch building eh! and then went ps for lunch at kfc. how to not get fat like that!! got a new cap though!

aiya ive gained more than 2kg since enlisting leh. how come ah?!?! ppl lose weight but im opposite. walao!

gtg now! booking in at 2045. sigh. 2 more weeks ppl. feeling super sad now. missing u guys already! and pls pray my field camp goes smoothly, like no rain and stuff. and that i wont get sick. and have a safe trip back fawn!! haha macdonalds shirt!

one of the best days in my life! thanks benny for all the encouragement and everything! yea its time to change the way i see things. no more aimlessness and time for more purposefulness! not gonna settle for just being ordinary too. alright! looking back, i wouldnt have had this meaningful talk if blood diamond wasnt sold out, or if rong wasnt working! hahaha and i dont believe its just coincidence. its God trying to get me back on path i believe! off to bed now!

not in a pretty high mood now. kinda wasted the better part of today at home. i dunno how im gonna survive the next week in camp! the thought is killing me. and still have homework to do?!?! they want us to write reflections on our 1st 2 weeks in army and do appraisals for the commanders as well. and gotta get digital photos printed. arghhh wish i could rewind time!

the past 2 weeks seeemed like eternity!! im sooo glad to have this weekend to catch up with friends and family man! i seriously never thought i was capable of missing my friends and even for that matter, my family, this much. after the 1st week i was already dying. i think going to army made me treasure friends and family much much more. sheeesh sounds so cliche right. i dunno how im gonna go back there on sunday man.

a rough timetable in the army is wakeup at 0530, then go for breakfast. after that will be area cleaning. and the first lesson usually starts after 730. sometimes there will be some free time after lunch as well, around 12 to 1.30pm. if theres nothing on at night, then theres usually free time as well from about 9 to 1030 la. lights out at 1030. everyday the same thing. so monotonous la.

anyway for physical training we usually have things like AGR, 30:60, or strength training. agr is just like 20-30min of continuous running. 30:60 is like 30sec sprint, then 60min of slow jog, many sets.

but what i hate most is the obstacle course la dammit. actually i hate anything that involves wearing the helmet!

ohhh about my bunk (they call it section in the army)! heard that my section is the only one in the whole company that has non-jc students! 6 out of the 13 in my section in fact! some are like 4 years older than me some more. and got another guy in my section studied in australia before coming back to serve ns so he got angmoh accent. and the instructors call him mr australia. then there are these 2 guys with tattoos also. one guy with a tiger and one with a skeleton. and they are called TIGER and GOTHIC respectively haha! oh ya my platoon instructors all quite nice one la. got 1 turban guy some more. but thats for now la. heard that everythings gonna be alot tougher after the 2nd book in. dammit. anw pretty tired now. just went out with sebas rong fawn for movie, the illusionist. it sucks! but nice meeting everyone! haiya i think i grew fatter la. the food they serve in the army is like double my usual servings la. and met kevin just now also for awhile. hahaha i think his shaved head not bad eh! funky! and i also wanna give tuition to sec 3 bimbos leh hahahah! future paris hiltons.

omg last chance at blogging before going army! didnt expect packing my stuff to take so long. im screwed if i dont get enough sleep.. but cant resist this last minute blogging effort to note down all exciting stuff over the past 2 days! in brief of course. not BRIEFS. ahha ok lame.

haha met up with kanesh sebas fawn rong peiyu at holland yesterday! after a really long time planning. haha. it was crazy man. first me kanesh and fawn ate at chachacha's. some mexican food. then went to indochine for drinks. then went breko, for more finger food! haha it was like eat drink eat. oh yea that afternoon also i met uncle kc. was kinda like a catch up session and preparing me mentally for ns.

ok today! wanted to swim in the morn but it just had to start drizzling as i was about to leave the house! but decided to heck the rain and go anyway. and todays plan was kinda messy and hazy. didnt really follow the original plan sorry guys! but blessings in disguise! cos when i reached tp swimming complex, i went in and swam for only 15 min before some idiot brought the vacuum cleaner thingy into the pool and started cleaning the pool. then some lifeguard dragged a sign to the front of the pool "cleaning in progress please use other pool" omg. jacked! but didnt bother to wait la. but just nice lucky the guy started cleaning at that time! or i wouldnt have been able to meet charm for awhile! hahaha she was so shocked with my hair and specs and everything. i look like a little china boy omg! haha badddd hair la. and mc cafe iced coffee is NOT good. after that went down to minds cafe at clarke quay with karthi shawntan stanley austen. benho and benny came later. haha had lots of fun there!! it was wayyyy crazy. my first time there man. but prob wont be able to go there much more. yea. its a nice cafe with lots of board games. kinda like our old student centre but wayyyy much more updated games and a larger variety. we started with a super draggy game of carrom. then moved on to adversity. haha some retarded game bout advertisements and slogans. but was damn funny cos the slogans were like "put a smile on his prostate" or "some like it big, some like it small" and the categories for the slogans were like g-string, peanut butter, vaseline, hotdogs, ding dongs, etc. super random and funny! played jenga with truth or dare too! and charades. omg there was this one super funny incident! i picked a card with category "in the army" and the phrase they had to guess was "clean the gun" and i had to use a cylindrical sponge thingy as a prop. so i did the hand action like moving my hand up and down the cylinder with a tissue paper la! i mean its supposed to be like polishing the gun barrel with a cloth what!! but those sickos straight away guess wanking!?!?! omg hahahha so funny. and there was this retarded game where we had to draw anything we interpreted from a topic. within like 1 min. hahaha can see that we all guys cant draw for nuts. karthi was damn funny for one time!! the topic was "sheep" but he saw it as "sleeeeep". so while we all drew the animal sheep or something, he drew 2 lovers in bed hanky pankying hahahaha!! of course he was voted the wierdest artist.

after minds cafe i went to meet family for dinner in the end at bugis fishnco. hahah wanted to go for 2nd round at crispy prata place but was too full after dinner already. oh welllll what a day!! gotta sign off now.

teachers visiting day + pekkkkking duck + kolam ayer + jalan kayu is too much!! exciting and enjoying life seriously! but damn. it just makes the thought harder to bear. limiting my free days to just half the weekends? shit la im really gonna miss my life. omg this is soo depressing. even more when i realise its only 2 days away. i think this might actually be how jason felt just before leaving singapore. argh i feel the pain man brudddda. and i get "bonus" 2 days stay in "beach resort" (quote mdm lee) also since i enlist on a thursday, and am only gonna be let out on a saturday. so its actually 2 weeks + 2 days confinement, while those who go in on a saturday get only 2 full weeks. ok i shall stop whining about this stupid depressing sstuff alright.

ok we were SUPPOSED to meet this morn at macs at 10. ahha i was supposed to be on time wan leh i woke up before 9! but like always, somehow rong reach the expressway busstop first miraculously. i think i can count with the fingers on 1 hand how many times i reach first hahahah! by the time we reached macs already 45 min late i think. sorry my bad :p

so me peiyu fawn rong kevin walked to school first. (cos sebas was still sleeeeeping) met most of the teachers. mdm lee was really funny! say i cut hair so early kay kiang ah. and all the teachers like got standard questions one leh. "caleb, sebas hows army?" and for the girls, "got a job yet?" and for kevin "when u going in ah?" and seriously, shaving ur head makes a great conversation starter HAHA!

had lunch at crystal jade holland v. cos we were planning to go movie marathoning at rongs house after that! and also we wanted a goooood lunch. must enjoy life mah! peking duck was great! first time i ate the crystal jade one. i thought normally is they just give a thin layer of crispy pork skin only. and straight after that i had to rush off for soccer on a full stomach haha. suicide man. reached there a full hour late! but was great seeing everyone again! ppl like benho, karthigasan whom i havent seen in ages. ian and teenesh too! alright me herngliang and teenesh are going in on consecutive days. after the game me karthi stanley austen shawntan beho went jalan kayu for prataaa! haha think its my first time going out with this bunch of guys. haha and throughout the whole journey there they were telling us jokes about their sec4 classes. omg i havent laughed this much in a long time seriously!! here's one: there's this one short guy in my class (4sa) who joined with karthi's class 4se for science practical during o lvls. then after the time was up for practical, the examiner said "if ur done, pls stand up" and everyone stood up. but the examiner waited for realll long before pointing at short guy and asking "are u ready? can u stand up?" HAHAHAHAH at first nobody got the joke but then everyone started laughing like mad!! haha of course the examiner apologized la. and we were also laughing at all the stupid things teachers used to do. some things like these ah, can laugh over and over again and its still funny!! like when karthi imitated chemyeo's voice.

haha and that was only on the journey to jln kayu. its sooo boys school right! then after we finished our pratas we played truth or truth. by spinning a fork on the table hahahah how retarded is that! but yea and with all guys there u can figure out what kinda stupid things they ask each other la. the questions always go "how many times...?" or "when was the first time u...?" haha i forsee more of this in the army life dammit.

alright thats for today. but on sunday, we also met to go escape theme park! my virgin experience at escape haha. rong kevin fawn ren. haha accomplishment for me ok!! i sat MANY rides which ive never sat or never thought i would ever sit in my life seriously!! usually i'll be wasting money at bumper cars (HAHAHAH) or some lame shit. but first time viking ship! they keep forcing me to sit at the last row with them la so toot. still say no kick some more. and they say must raise ur hands and scream then u will feel shiok. but i cant i will feel i will be left in mid air when the ship is at its peak and begins to drop! so natural reflex to grab the handle in front wad! at least i didnt chicken out of anything ok. and we sat the 15m drop water ride! and got seriously wet. i was shivering after that. haha like soggy fries like that. cos i was wearing yellow/brown zigzag shirt. and haunted house was gay. actually it wasnt as scary as most other haunted houses leh. all just machines shaking abit only. but its cos they make me walk right in front ma!! then the one in front always kena scared first. and sat the pepsi whatever thing. and the RAINBOW which was decievingly exciting. fawns slipper flew off halfway while we were dropping down!! hahaha then some cheenapok girls in front kept going "shui de tuo xie ah?" haha! oh yea rong's cap also flew off a couple of times. lucky got it back la. the go kart was the biggest time waster. queue so long but play so short only. left the theme park at about 8 plus.. went to macs for dinner. fawn was says she hasnt had HEART ATTACK eating mcwings for a long time haha! the way she said heart attack sounded real funny. actually she meant something like heart burn or what la. but heart attack?!?! and macdonalds now have a prosperity meal! seriously what does prosperity mean huh??

we met at lavender mrt. one of the few times we actually meet up at the near-east side of singapore?? and one of the few times im actually the first to arrive?? hahaha seriously. new yr resolution ah. kick the habit of reaching late haha. rong came soon after and sebas came after after. and fawn came after after after and met us at the army market itself. she knows her way man! first thing when we reached there, we saw this shop selling fake converse sneakers. looks pretty real and going for $29! haha ok "FOCUS, SEBAS!" so we went on to get our neccessities. like prickly heat, black tape, nailclipper.. spent bout $20+ there. and this other shop aunty who must have tried really hard to attract us potential customers. like really really tried so hard she had to go to extremes hahaha! "come see our stuff, handsome! very cheap!" and "come again ok pretty". hahaha see what i mean?? :p

went to a watch shop to get cheap watch and alarm clock. yes today was a day of countless ripoffs. the uncle anyhow quote price one lor.

had dinner at ikea! havent been there in ages! and im a hawker centre person! hahah fiona xie - coffee talks and hawker woks? what does (poached) in poached salmon mean?? a poacher is a hunter so poached salmon means hunted salmon? means its not caught by a fishing rod or fishing net? literally hunted? hahaha ok thinking too much.

headed down to bukit merah after dinner. hahaha while me n sebas were looking for cheap undies to get for army, we saw this damn funny bright red briefs!! hahaha with chinese words at the top that read something like gong1 xi3. i think its the kind ppl wear to go gambling on cards or mahjong for gd luck. hahah! and gd for taking exams also eh :p secret tactic!

sebas got a cheap camera-less phone from a 2nd hand shop too. i think $65 is a pretty gd bargain. dunno. nice model anyway. and i got ripped off for paying $30 for a 2nd hand spare battery dammit.

ok then MOST EXcITING event!! the barber! standard number 1 cut hahahahah. my sis just said i look wierd in the new hair. she says like a small boy. but its gd cos i dont have to wait for hair to dry before sleeping like i used to! cos it dries by the time i towel dry my body! hahahahah! really no kidding! $7 haircut. i think the uncle doesnt have a pretty good sense of style though. cut my hair like cheenapok. urgh.

like a virgin! hahah. amateurs in zouk last night. met fawn kevin sebas rong at tiong bahru for dinner first. but i was late as usual. cos was busy with OTAH earlier haha! and we watched night at the museum. 2nd time for me. i think i must watch movies twice to fully understand them!

okayyy about the club. it smelled funky. yes and we all continued smelling funky all the way home cos of the smoke. and sebas got this 2 jugs of ice lemon tea-looking drink under the 1 for 1 thing or something. i could only take less than half! while sebas took most of it and got himself really high haha. i think everyone was high la including kevin hahahah! and peiyu brought along her baller friends with sirps included! hah. left prematurely, at about 2. and saw a whole gang of sa ppl. the sh gang, some councilors, some looking half-dead. i think i was relatively sober last night actually yea.

anw gonna make army specs now! the black plastic standard type. and gonna postpone my haircut till later. maybe next week la. decided not to tan my scalp hahaha! i mean no point actually. why would i wanna impress army boys anyway?!?! and army shopping with sebas tmr. and escape (for the first time in my life, hopefully) on sunday! cant wait!

anyway this week has been a week of many surprises! crabshack with dc+c was a great catch up session! before proceeding to liquid kitchen and getting my face all red after only half a glass. took turns grilling each other. while me and dc would keep saving each our asses. i'll just say i enjoyed the whole thing.

cousin came back from malaysia! staying at my place for a week. yea the one who uses my room. and also met my maid in church on new yr's eve at watchnight service. apparently cos my cousin was in town with her friends earlier that night and met her while shopping, so they went church together. wow she got a new angmoh employer staying in orchard cool eh.

met up with khairul yesterday too. haha i've owed him this date since i think before prelims? hahah he's a great guy man. still going back to help out in the schools too. hahahah and secret agendas in sas!!! watched night at the museum! hahahah ok its funny i admit! but its got a lame happy ending. but still.. owen wilson is damn funny!

i brought my gardenia lunchbox of double chocchip cookies and brownies today! hope it was nice eh? the brownie wasnt suppose to be in a cupcake shape! cos the dough was too watery and it couldnt set in place haha. and sebas thought it was instant cookie mix omg. i do from afternoon to night leh how can be instant mix! hahahah no wonder so nice right! peiyu took the whole box off to give her bballers. cos she had to rush off to a FRIENDLY game. haha such a busy beeeeeee.

omg i just spent 90% of today doing fab lebs fabulous wondrous amazing gorgeous sexy divine heavenly absolutely time-wasting chocolatey choclate cookies!! so gay i started at 3+ pm, after going all the way to ntuc fairprice (even gayer) and only finished washing up at 11pm!! retarded i tell u! and only ended up with 3 jars of stuff. perhaps partly cos i kept stealing whatevers coming out of the oven hehe. and chocolate chips which were supposed to go into the cookies.. ha ok i think fatness is arriving sooner than expected. and it rained the whole day today some more. spoilt my exercise plan! hope tmrs better!

merry christmas! actually its kinda over already but.. haha and yes happy birthday jason also! i think the only bday i can rmb without checking friendster hahahaha!

christmas in malaysia was great actually. aha although didnt have turkey and the usual stuff this yr. ok the only turkey i had this christmas period was turkey ham in a sandwich haha!

firstly malaysia wedding is weirddd. the waiters and waitresses have super lame uniforms - a red polo tee with their own jeans/skirts and track shoes?!?! haha. and they serve tea in plastic containers?? and the emcee was some ahlian with super short skirt and thick gothic makeup and look like getai singer. and throughout the whole dinner there were uncles and aunties taking turns going up the stage to sing karaoke. bad bad bad!

on christmas eve we went to malacca! ate at a fantastic chinese restaurant for lunch! and got new watch heheh.! and cool shades from those roadside stalls! only RM10 haha can wear and throw away kind. then at night we went to this night market thing. and had some famous laksa thingy. nyonya (i dunno howto spell) style or something. supposed to be sour and spicy. but to me, it tasted, seriously, like puke. and they were selling these tortoise keychains which lights up and goes "muacksmuacks I LOVE YOU muacks!" when u press a button. hahahah and my sister got one. i wonder for who. and its my younger sis btw!

went to grandpa's church on christmas day itself (today!) it was in chinses so.. yea. but the message is still the same. every yr ppl get too caught up in the festive mood they forget the real reason of christmas!
