i think i should blog about my chinese new yr! er actually not much of cny stuff anyway.. and i realised i forgot to blog bout the 2am dessert bar incident last week!! haha cos thats nothing compared to................ eating grass! heh heh.

ogay but im lazy to write about it now anyway. i think i got quite a number of new clothes still folded neatly with the tag still on, piled on the sofa. proof that ive been overspending.

i shall start with what happened in ati this week then! actually the workload is really increasing. alot. and being admin ic is not as easy as it sounds lor. have to compile the results for the whole course. means after every theory, practical, ippt, soc test, whatever test, i have to key into the computer. and not only that, still got to chase other ppl for the results and stuff. and a certain boss in there can be super unreasonable la. only know how to wayang around. omg wth bbq!

the trainees took their ippt retest on tuesday. and among the 3 nsf instructors, i was the only one asked to help out at the ippt. yes i was supposed to only be the shuttle run ic. then after the static stations were done, i went to help record timings for their 2.4 run. and its a really tedious process la cheee. but the boss ar, really pissing ok! i really gotta bitch this time haha :p

i think its hard for those non-ns ppl reading this to visualise what im saying, but recording timing really requires alot of concentration cos 1 mistake will screw up everything. they use this freaking old technology timer-cum-printer thingy and each time a person crosses the finish line, someone will shout 'UP' and whoever is holding the timer will press a button and the printer automatically prints out the time it shows on the screen at that moment. so after lets say 50 ppl cross the line, the paper coming out of the printer will look like 1 long ntuc/cold storage/sheng siong (haha!) receipt with lots of timings on it. meanwhile, the participants who finish the run will collect a number chip in order of their position. like person who finished first will get chip #1 n so on. then after that, the admin person (me) gotta ask everyone line up and return their number chip to me and i will look thru the receipt for the person's timing and record it down. DAMN RETARDED RIGHT! like can u imagine ITS THE FREAKING 21st CENTURY AND WE ARE STILL USING ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY. and the stupid boss ah, only know how to make noise. cos after recording the 2.4 timings, dunno why end up i have to do the calculations for all their static stations as well. like add up all the points they get for chin up, etc and see whether they get gold or silver award la. walao i know im the freakin smallest rank instructor there and very nice to bully and i cant do anything about it but the least the BOSS could do is to shut up while im tabulating the results right! i already do additional job leh.

and why? cos there was another higher rank boss there. and after i finally finished everything (he merely stood there beside the table and gave eye power all the while), he said to the bigger boss, "sorry for taking up so much of ur time ah.." in a very act cute smily smiley polite manner. and asked him to sign some documents lor. walao freakin wayang. even at his age and at his rank still have to resort to this. urgh.

and that wasnt the end of the story lor. after we pack up and went back to carry on with our normal tank lesson, he suddenly walk up to me with a copy of the results sheet. cos someone apparently wrote 5 points for those trainees who did only 8 or 9 chin ups. actually must do 12 then get 5 points mah. but obviously someone wrote wrongly la. and he came up to me and first thing say "i really want to F u, u know" like hello, the handwriting itself is so obviously different. i secretly wonder if it was he himself who screwed up lor.

hah writing this actually got my heart pumping man! wah quite long nv bitch like that already hahaha i think last time was cw!

cny celebrations in camp was quite retarded btw. had an out of camp run, then had some supposedly SPECIAL breakfast at the cookhouse. hurhur actually nothing special bout it lor. and they played some lame table games and gave out oranges to everyone. then i thought can book out early wan leh! but then last min some stupid AI OOC reported a missing handphone. walao then we all kena activated to conduct a stand-by bed to find the missing phone la. obviously in the end nv find lor. all delayed cos of the chao ooc.

oh ya i forgot to mention! i got promoted! 3SG to a local 2SG! actually no biggy there la. no pay increase also walao. only got more sai kang to do. such as guard comd and ammo ic.

yes so after booking out the 3 of us nsf instructors went to beach road to sew the new rank. lucky got 1 shop open! the rest all closed for the holiday. and while waiting, i had the yummy waffle with choc dip! heheheh! rushed home, packed for malaysia and left.

malaysia was a bore. yawnsssssssss. stayed there 1 night. on the 2nd morning, attended the church service there as usual. which was in chinese and i had lots of trouble following what was going on haha. after that just idled at home all the way until evening, when we came back to singapore lor. basically all i did there was eat, read book, watch tv, sleep.

yes i finished the library book i brought there! its really good! the title is elsewhere. its about a girl who died in a car accident when she was 15. and in the story, all ppl who die go to a place called Elsewhere. its a place where ppl age backwards. so she enters Elsewhere at 15 yrs old and grows younger until she becomes a baby and then leaves Elsewhere and returns to earth to be born into a new life. haha.

alright this morning had breakfast with fawn and the rest at guthrie house coffee bean. haha why isit always coffee bean?? anyway kevin showed his TALENT in taking photographs haha. omg i bet he spent hours practising in front of his mirror!! and we were laughing at how sebas used to do his pon de replay thing at the last mrt carriage. and rong has lesbian tendecies she has been secretly stalking girls' blogs for centuries!!! HAHAHA and the worst thing is, the girl doesnt even look like she's worth stalking, i think. hahah shat sebas dont kill me! anyway he said he does not bitch anymore. he only states truths :p and kevin randomly called mr fong n mdm lee and ALMOST, ms carol! haha they asked him where he lived, and said cos they wanted to give wedding invites cos me n rong are getting married!!??! bbq man! i also wanna go and visit teachers leh actually. even ms carol! hahaha fav student?? yea right man.

oh tmr.. gotta visit warrant yeo! hahah also known as the bobdog. aiyo must bring oranges and exchange. so toot. wonder how times the oranges change hands already leh.

i cant imagine how so many suayyy things can happen to me in a day. first, overslept and didnt meet nine at holland for breakfast. actually thats not suay la thats simply my fault haha.

then they said they were going to spca to get guinea pigs so i went there to meet them. and when i reached there and called them, HELOO WE ARE STILL AT HOLLAND BECAUSE SPCA DOES NOT HAVE GUINEA PIGS. why ah why ahhhh? totally messed up my plans for the whole day too.

actually i thought i would hang out with them from breakfast onwards to bout 2 plus then go to nafa to visit the open house HAHA then go to church for cell. but no in the end everything turned out weird. ok not everything. after i got stunned at spca, i decided to go nafa earlier. until when i was nearly there then i found out that she only off duty at 3! so i decided to go walk round bugis alone haha. quite fun shopping alone actually! then went to national library (for the first time in my life!!) and got lost inside cos i thought the fiction section was like on lvl 7 or smth. i simply followed ppl into the lift and got out at the same floor as them LOL! ogay until i realised it was at B1. got myself a book which looked not bad. titled elsewhere. about a girl who died and went, elsewhere.

started heading towards nafa at around 230 but took quite awhile to locate the MAIN BUILDING so reached exactly at 3! haha got a cute mr bean tshirt from her stall! haha the indian guy tried to sell me a couple tshirt saying get one for ur girlfriend also la! haha i wish. went lecture and see the gallery. haha got quite a few of her work on display but it was like artwork and sewing kinda stuff sooo.. GOOD. haha actually i was dam nervous at first like gona pee in my pants and breaking out in cold sweat man! but woo nothing stops me hehehe! oh ya i saw the programme actually got joakin gomezzzzz and gayle nerva talks earlier in the morning damit! i mean who cares bout joakim but GAYLE NERVA hahahaha my singapore idol xoxoxoxo! and i saw the randall guy, the one who is now together with the melody person who was on the first amazing race asia.

ogay and after that i left for church cos tee liang song told me last sunday that there would be cell today! and then when i reached church he wasnt there!! erghhhh. jacked nth time today! what to do? go home and decided to go for a run. ippt training hehe. took a 2.4 time trial and finished in 10.04 hehe almost there!

hehehehehe went out with benny yesterday! went to watch RAMBO hahahaha! its funny not because its a gd show or anything. actually it was quite crappy. just the usual bang bang we all get shot and bleed but somehow i dont bleed as much as you and i survive stuff. but thats not the point. cos we suddenly remembered of when we were in sec 1! and benny must have been damn bored to tie the school tie around his forehead for dunno what reason. then mrs julia huang walked in and caught him. and she said something like "you think you rambo ah?! wait i use the tie and hang you on the fan then u know!"

and we went to play tf2 after that. fun fun! medic is gdstuffzzz man got invulnerability!

thinking of what i've given up

the hp guy just came to my house and RESCUED my keyboard! finally i can type properly!

this week was the end of agts and the start of crew phase. the 3 of us nsf instructors were the demonstraters for all the crew drills. so spent much of my free time in bunk this week studying and revising the drills. lots of work, just like a trainee again.

and was it was the SOC test for some of the trainees this week. went down with them to run beside them and pace them. and ALL OF THEM PASSED! except two people who fell out halfway. one sprained ankle and the other asthma attack. was running beside asthma boy (poon) and kept pushing him on until suddenly he stopped and cannot talk like that. i also stunned for awhile man! lucky he carried his inhaler with him.

quite happy with my crew too. usually they'd be the first to finish the open/close tank drill while the other crews would be struggling to meet the timing. now its up to them to maintain the standard ha! and its so retarded that everytime I do demonstration, one of the BOSSES would comment on why i so slow. "bloody slow! like a old grandmother!" chweeeeee. haha maybe i too relax eh? even the trainees say i very relaxed compared to bernard and shengyang when doing the demonstrations. ha!

last night was one of the latest bookouts man! left camp at nearly 9! staff wong (not me!) gave me and sy a lift to bishan thomson there. but being his usual self, HAHA, there was alot of hidden agenda along the way there. and i think it made little difference if i actually got a lift from him or went back myself. cos like when when i was ready to leave camp, he went to wash his clothes and shower first. THEN, he drove to a petrol station to fuel up. THEN, he went thru a manual car wash. before heading down to the destination. haha! nono im not complaining! actually its quite funny la. and he also quite blur wan sometimes drive into the wrong lane then miss the turn and he's like heck care just continue going straight and hope we end up somewhere near. haha! AND he's not much of an english speaking person so quite hard for me to communicate with him too. and he keeps wanting to intro me to his wife's sister HAHAHAHA! i secretly dont mind :p smu student leh and only 1 yr older and staff wong say she quite angmoh type one wooh! but i cant imagine going out with staff wong's wife's sister. SO WEIRD!

urghhh waiting for time to pass so can go out later. think il go read some books first hehe bookwormxsssssssss

where were you?

finally got a breather this week as the trainees moved on to their next phase in training: agts. or rather some simulation computer thingy in air cond environment. so brought in some books to read. got this book called God's Blogs from the library which was pretty good. finished in 1 and a half day haha i think thats a record for me! dont have it with me now cos one of the warrant officers borrowed it from me after i finished reading it.

talked much more with the trainees too. haha most of them are pretty funny! but can see some conflicts between some of them already. ha not safe to list names here tho.. anw there's this new catch phrase thats going around. LIKE TOTALLY NASTY. and they keep imitating the senior instructors, like the way someone shakes his legs as he talks, or how another person wipes his face and says "damn shag". hahaha.

just watched american gangster with benny last night. really good! like no one's a total good or bad person, its all up to perspective. ha.

went down to clarke quay to get benny's 8th month gift! haha not OUR 8 months of course. we i think more than 5 years already hahaha! and chilled and talk cock by the river. haha it was nice guy talk, unlike the previous experience. URGH. if u know what i mean lol. haha!

friday night had buffet dinner at sakura toa payoh with my fellow instructors and bosses. was sort of like a farewell for the 3 previous nsf instructors who just ord-ed and to welcome the new ppl, including us. haha the food was gd, especially the dessert counter! got icecream, red rubies, cheesecakes, durian puff.. haha staff tongle actually wanted to go kbox after that!! but i think it would be weird for me cos i wont sing, especially since they all prefer chinese songs!

this week in camp was more intense in terms of physical training. really put in 100% together with the trainees for their morning runs and interval trainings. and even for night training, to improve my standing broad jump. lol but doesnt seem to help much! oh yea just got a new pair of lightweight trainers too. the nike zoom air katana! i think it improved my running performance cos i wore it for one of the interval trainings and really went faster! but gotta limit my usage of that shoe or it will wear out too fast. ha i hope i can get gold again! $200 more hehehe! anyone wanna train with me or got any tips pls lemme know hehe!

and shit i just got cheated of one DI duty. argh.

and was supposed to go malaysia this weekend but didnt. probably going next week then.

time is flying by too quickly! its already christmas eve. that means only 1 week left with jason in singapore.



soccer reunions at kolam ayer! once me jason and beho played at acs barker street soccer court with other barker guys haha! quite fun actually until it ended with a heavy rain and we were stranded in the school.



then there were the nine gatherings! what would i do without them?? just had christmas dinner with them at fawn's place 2 days ago. sebas cooked. hahaha he's a great cook. had tuna with leaves and asparagus (which kevin thought was long beans!!) and yummy apple crumble(d) with b&j's chunky monkey!! ahaha actually i think i was already quite seh or tired when i arrived there. cos i didnt sleep a wink the night before! was washing tanks overnight leh. from ten at night till five-thirty in the morning! craziness! so of course my level of lameness in the jokes increased proportionally to my seh-ness. haha rong brought kenny and ian was there too. i think they both HUH at 99% of my jokes hahahaha! ok after the dinner they wanted to play spongebob monopoly but i think i ko-ed on the sofa before anything could happen. and got a cute camel with TWO HUMPS!! thanks sebas n fawn! and rong brought cute geisha oil blotters lol! and a handphone chain with a clump of pubic hair on top!! haaha erm what else i rmb ah? yeah they argued AGAIN whether menu was pronounced man-u or mer-noo. and carrefour. hahahaha it could have gone on forever!



had stayovers at shane's too! they winning eleven all the way. and arthur snores damn loud. hah i rmb kevin whining about wanting to eat macs for lunch or something. LOL.

and of course not forgetting.. WEEKEND at bintan!!!! 5 guys in a bintan resort = GAY FUN FUN FUN!!! ok minus the gay part :p went with jason, benho, khairul and arthur. took a 1 hr ferry ride there and arrived early in the afternoon. they had free buggy service to bring us from the lobby area to our VILLA! went, changed and headed to the BEACH, BABY!! a pity cos of the monsoon season, there was no motorized sea sports. but we did bodyboarding, which was fun and tiring! haha after that most of us ended up with red chest and stomachs. haha went to the swimming pool too and tried the pool bar. sweet! after a quick shower, had buffet dinner! omg we totally stuffed ourselves to the max! the crayfish was &$#^*#^$ OMG!! and the dessert counter was gd too! hot chocolate pudding + ice cream!! then we took our big tummies to the beach club. hahaha wanted to see live band but they were late. and no crowd yet. haha some local uncle told us if we had to bring our own scenery, if u get what he means. haha. jason bought us shots. and i damn noob la drink slowly then kena burned hahaha. and jason did some cool trick which made the bartenoder go WOW! and i slept with arthur on a double bed that night. omg kena raped!! hahaha no la just that his snoring was THX CERTIFIED.

watched in the valley of elah with jason n benny last night. haha i slept thru half the show! but i think it was gd. meaningful show. and some more havent met benny in so long! haha and jason was telling us bout his OMG WOOHOO PWNED GAY SHIT OMG AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! hah gd stuff man! how can it ever be bad!!?! i support u man!

YAMI YOGHURT and MUTHU'S CURRY! benho damn funny keep asking WHO's MUTHU? cos all the waiters there look the same heh heh.

today met up with the sas guys again to catch hitman! hehe basically paid 8 bucks to see HOT RUSSIAN BABE!!

oh yea friday night with jason n sebas was exciting! met tina and wei yann with them too for dinner at seah im food centre! haha apparently the gd duck noodles stall is closed though :( and what a coincidence we met romanis weiyan on the bus. hahaha we both think the other party dao-ed us! oh man but she confirmed the BAD NEWSSS about coconuts apparently coconut milk has mixed with shit! oh man that is bad cos white and black shouldnt mix dammit! shall they create a halal coconut as well?!?! urgh. chweeeeee. ok i shall stop this im HAPPY. hahah today i wore the HAPPY tshirt i bought with joel herngliang n jason!

oh new trainees coming in this thursday. that means less free time and booking out late at night on fridays instead of 5.30! and no more nights off! oh no i think im gonna have trouble adjusting back to shiong training days again. gotta go work out too!

omg never had so much fun in such a long time! possibly the whole of this yr! haha from the minute we picked jason from the airport. we were already laughing like retarded boys at shane driving his mazda!!

and i think its the first time i got ppl staying over at my place eh! haha and i must admit i have the messiest house/room among the friends' houses i visited before. but thats not the point!

arrgh and my 2 days of leave flew by so quickly! today is my last day of leave this year. but its all worth it. like walking to the 24hr prata shop outside my house with jason at 3am in the morning!?! and going to lavender food court 2 days in a row cos jason suddenly had craving for the won ton mee there! hahahah i think we both gona become fatty sumos!

on tues night the 2 of us plus arthur went to chomp chomp and ordered what oyster omelette, fried carrot cake, hokkien mee, satay, sambal sotong, grilled chicken wings and finished a giant cup of sugar cane juice!! like OMG! how to not get fat!

and i was paying for almost everything cos jason didnt have enough sing dollars at that time! including the cab fare from serangoon gardens to stef's house. jason wanted to visit her cos her whole family was ill. food poisoning? haha at least not like me last time fainted in the toilet when i was pee-ing!!! omg that was so embarrassing. and jason made some retarded joke about pointing middle finger in front of her mum!!

after that he decided to move over to arthur's place that night cos i was planning to book in the next morning. which meant i had to wake up at like 5am and he would be alone at home (with my lame loser whatever sis) when he wakes up in the morning! so i thought i could book in that night instead of the next morning. and i asked my dad whether he could send me back to camp, and at the same time give arthur n jason a lift to their house. and we left my house at close to 1130pm. and i had to reach camp by midnight! so my dad was like damn gan cheong and kept shouting and i think he kinda frightened arthur n jase lol! till they walked out of the house themselves to get a cab outside! hahahahahha! but in the end they still got a ride to jurong pt (which they said was worse cos it was past midnight when they reached there so got midnight surcharge, and total cabfare is $20+). and dunno wad my dad kept talking weird stuff with them. like after dropping me at my camp and they were driving out thru lim chu kang road past all the cemetries. and he was saying like at night drive there very scary dunno whether seeing human or ghost! hehehe!

oh ya that day also went with jason to meet fawn! haha bet she was thinking like SO WEIRD!! went to gelare cos it was half price waffle day! and we were thinking maybe gelare is pronounced gurrr-lehhr and not jer-lar-reh.

and just last night, straight after i booked out was supposed to meet nine at holland at 730! and in the end only me n fawn there at 730. and SHE CUT HER HAIR haha she said the hairdresser was irritated with her cos she didnt wanna follow her suggestion on how to cut her hair! and we met the quiet saxaphone guy? omg yesterday was damn funny! were like drunkards standing at the roadside doing HIP ACTION!! and shooting bottle caps!! and rong brought dor-nuts hehe i love peanut butterrrrrr. n she say she wanna do baking cupcakes isit? hah! later really come out like otah! but we couldnt stay out longer though i wished we could cos fawn had curfew n peiyu was like zonked out from her exams. but she was damn high when taking pictures that time haha!

and now still at shane's house. with arthur n kevin n jason. omg 4 guys squeezed in a small room. and it was damn funny cos at first we were talking cock then suddenly we heard arthur snoring DAMN LOUDLY. and i seriously thought he was faking it la! but he really just fell asleep like that! and then jason fell asleep beside me too and started snoring too! omg then left me and kevin complaining cant sleep cos of the surround sound! haha kevin went to get his ipod. n i took damn long to sleep. but im the first to wake up. haha they still sleeping now lor. oh ya just remembered last night we said arthur's snoring like a moo moo cow! and can video something like a 100% fresh milk advertisement and post on youtube.

sheesh so many things running thru my head the past day or 2! i dont know where to start. sigh and i dont wanna be a spoiler either. totally didnt see it coming! yeah its my fault for being too non-involved in such matters?

anyway things to cheer everyone up!! met jack lau quan feng on friday nighttt at serangoon gardens. haha so much to catch up on since our sispec days! laughed at how i got so worried after losing an ET blade during one of the field camp. and how we used the matador as a bumrest when it rained and the ground was all wet n soggy like shit flavoured yoghurt! and how our whole bunk searched everywhere when we thought our BUNK KEY WENT MISSING! then after a few days jack was folding his admin shorts and WALLA we FOUND THE KEY!! hahahahaha! and found out he is kenneth kum's commander. and shengyang's bmt bunkmate. such a small world! and saw mdm lee when i was there too hahaha!

this week in camp's more eventful than last! we were made to do sai kang aka fatigue work on monday night. overnight. like 11pm to 5am. fbnbcb! hahaha. helped to carry cargo boxes which came back from some overseas training. got 60+ boxes leh!! and dunno why they so extra bring TRACK LINKS and SPARE WHEELS for what sia! had to carry from the cargo hold at changi up to a truck to transport back to camp. was made to be vehicle commander for the transporter back to camp. but i slept thru almost the whole journey!

the driver even said (in chinese) "u wanna sleep just go ahead, when reach already i call u wake up" hahahaha!

then when reach back camp he said "da4 ge1 (big bro), dao4 le (reach already)"

then had to unload all the cargo from the transporter into the store. woohoo and there were 3 trucks full of boxes! walao we become part time banglas already sia!

on wednesday booked out n met my sisters to watch army daze. ahahaha dam retarded show!!! its a classic man! hahahah cant forget the bollywood scenes! n ate at coffee club for the first time (haha i know im a noob). the mudpie there is nice!! n its cheaper n larger than the ones at nydc.

met kev rong peiyu n sebas yesterday at raffles city. the 3 uni students met there to mug actually. haha i went there to extra n play my ds?? went with kev n peiyu to some cool earphone shop cos kev wanted to get gd stuffzzzzz! n we were quite positive the shop owner was interested in kevin hahaha! and he kept wanting to steal this "CLEANING IN PROGRESS" yellow sign which they usually put outside the toilet if they're cleaning. we saw it in front of a staircase n there wasnt anyone cleaning it so kev was quite tempted to take it! hahaha actually i was going to take it!! oh ya and kev put peiyu's green colour barney toy into the hood of her jacket. haha like a baby kangaroo in the mom's pouch lidat. hahahaha!

went to challenger to look for ipod cover. then met my dad there too. but the cover i finally decided upon got no stock! only comes next week. damn.

oh ya n yea got reminded of this suddenly! cos rong was asking me why i didnt have to book in last night. cos i took leave today.. yea on monday i was thinking very hard which days to clear my annual leaves on. then i decided to go ahead n try my luck for 3-5 december. which i already knew was really risky cos the new intake is on 6 december. but yea its a NO in the face!! kinda expected the F***ING BASTARD NAHBEH CHEEBYE from him already lor. hahahaha! yea thats the FBCBNB! since the days i was still a trainee going for live firing. cos during live firing he would be the one in the control giving orders to fire n stuff. then i rmb i was the first one to LAM mark fire. meaning the round went wayyyyy short off target. then straightaway on the radio:

watched 2 movies this week. game plan and rendition. game plan with my colleagues during one of the nights off at jurong point. funny show! and rendition with benny. quite a confusing show and i only understood everything just before the show end hahaha! oh yea when i was out with benny i bought this rectangular soft toy pillow thingy which was supposed to be a tofu ahahahah and its brown in colour! omg im gonna bring it to camp!

and yesterday met behoooooorrrrr and shawn tan ping le zombieeeee to play soccer at kolam ayer again! and the weather was perfect so we played for nearly 3 hrs there! then shawntan invited us to his place to watch man u and arsenal. ha why not?? cos no more sports channel on my cable tv anymore anyway! and like beho says "at least go there got free food!" which was true cos shawn's place had shihlin snacks xxl chicken, old chang kee fingerfood and pizza hut! hahahah dunno why his house got so much of these kinda food for what also! herng liang, liang sheng and arthur came to join us too. and arthur helped to clear up all the food HAHAHA. herng liang just came back from brunei that morning so he was damn shagggg. slept thru the half time interval laaa. wah the game was damn close sia!

gonna apply 1 day leave this fri. so got long weekend cos of deepavali on thurs. and gonna apply for 23, 26, 27 nov too. cos got instructor prep course on 28-30 so cant take leave on those days. and will be hard to apply leave for 3-5 december cos new intake coming on the 6th and the seniors say got lots of stuff to prepare and course commander will get a bad impression of me if i disappear during that pre-intake 3 days. arghhh means only got the weekendss + christmas + hari raya off in december..

went swimming yesterday!! then went to library to pick up some books haha! i got some wierd self-help books which are so thick i doubt i will read anyway. then my lil sis called after her sch ended and said she wanted to come to toa payoh to get some stuff from popular. so i happily continued my stay in the library till she arrived. haha i think i havent spent sucha long time in the library since i was a kid! then bought some baking ingredients too HEH HEH!

POP LO!!! haha its a bittersweet thing to pass out from tcc after 19 weeks of training. cos it means goodbye to the best army friends i have and no more protection of being a trainee. no more guidance from instructors too. i would say i really enjoyed the course even though its one of the toughest. quite an achievement for me to get ippt gold and pass soc and survive 1 month in foreign land. haha but its also the first course i got extra guard duty + confinement la dammit! survived bmt and sispec without any extras or confinements but not so lucky this time!

getting promoted is gd too! extra pay hahaha but i feel that isnt all that important.

yea for those who dunno, i got a pretty good posting: stay back as a tcc instructor! next batch of trainees coming in december 6. so maybe from now till then can take a few days off or smth haha.

anyway this past week was SUPER SHAQ haha shaq o'neil. we all thought the last week of course should have alot of own free time to slack but NO every night sleep at 11 plus or 12. every morning wake up eat breakfast dont even have time to SHIT then gotta go rehearsal for the parade liao. haha and the parade got one part have to sing 2 songs. 1 english and 1 chinese. the chinese one super cheesy:

TODAY,
supposed to meet lots of ppl at beach rd at 10 to sew on the new rank on our uniforms. BUT i reached at freakin 11 and there was only 3 ppl there. hahaha for once everyone later than me. so while waiting, i whipped out my ds and went back to pokemon hahaha! and tried catching mesprit again. btw, ive been trying to catch it for close to 2 weeks man! and whoo peng yan caught it for me! haha of course i did help too. and ate goreng pisang damn nice! was supposed to have buffet at sakae after that some more leh but too hungry liao. and then when we reach sakae, found out it was hari raya so TOO BAD no buffet. so we ended up in SEOUL GARDEN hahahah havent went there in ages! to play with food omg! we had 2 tables and we were competing which table can make the most creative dish or whatever. and some weird stuff we came up with: gwee tried to wrap ice cream in an omelette and throw onto the pan to make FRIED ICE CREAM hahaha of course it was a total failure. and we played zong ji mi ma and i kena and was forced to eat sweetcorn omelette omg! haha but was dam fun! ate until dam full too.

yeah tmr meeting zombiee and beho for soccer! got myself a new pair of shoes too.

not falling apart

home sweet home! have been counting down to this day! cant wait to meet up with nineeeee too! whoo 1 month flew past just like that! now im sitting in front of my comp and it doesnt feel any different from what it should be a month ago. haha the days in taiwan really just passed by without me even knowing. there was even once when i called home and no one picked up the phone, so i ringed my dad's handphone. and i asked if he was on the way home cos i could hear lots of noises in the background. and guess what? "im at OG with your mum and sis shopping." and i was wondering why everyone was so free can go shopping on a weekday. then i looked at my watch and realised it was a saturday evening. hahaha yea so that shows how each day passes!

earned 1x confinement too cos of something damn stupid which wasnt even my fault.

think the trip also helped me understand my coursemates lots more. like joel aka MR UNHYGENIC. who sometimes goes straight to bed without even showering. and his pillowcase is the BLACKEST seriously. hahaha we were daring each other to sniff his pillowcase for 5 seconds for a free XXL crispy chicken!! yea and also got to know who are the really hardworking ones and who are the ppl who wayang their way thru. found out that one of my close buddies can be quite gay sometimes hahaha!

woo i can officially drive a tank now! the past week ive been going outfield for driving lessons. and afterr just 3 days of lessons was the actual test already! was quite fun but the biggest tradeoff is that we have very little sleep cos of all the servicing + maintenance we gotta do before and after returning from outfield. on the last day, we even had to wash the entire vehicle till 3am before sleeping la.

met some og friends today! haha think its the only og that still ever meets up after so long! amar was there too hahaha he's a medic somemore la basket slacker.

i still dunno if i will be allowed to book out for college day leh dammit. cos of some stupid parade in camp.

and i also havent gotten a proper shirt for college day (if i get to go). and a bday present for cococo haha! and still havent watched so many movies la - pirates, f4, think im gona miss transformers too cos next week im gona get confined. only can book out on sunday around 3pm, but gotta go back at night the same day. how gay is that!

yea havent blogged bout last week! met kevin fawn and rong to watch oceans 13 and then followed fawn to airport hahaha! and saw the POWER ON power ranger guy who kept asking us to eat cos he dun wanna be responsible if we faint. and kevin went crazy over doughnuts and booger king haha! had super late dinner at fish n co till we missed last train. took many many buses until i managed to reach potong pasir, but was raining too so no choice call mum to pick me from there lor. walao everytime i bring bag just to put umbrella, it doesnt rain. then now when i nv bring bag and umbrella, rain until like that! hehehe.

one foolish mistake

goin back to the dirty and spiderwebby bunk in a few hrs time. this weekend felt so short even though i didnt even do much! except for going beach road to get army stuff n going church today. and meeting rong to pass her stuff at sa busstop before church haha! for once i was earlier siaa. i rmb last time i always promised to go early to make it to morning worship on time but always end up reaching the track just before 7.25 hahaha! and smsing "gogo"! and spyinggggg from the link bridge between sas and sajc!

last night was chatting with jason bout sec sch teachers too!! hahaha we were checking out the sec sch website and laughing like shit! like marimuthu s/o aboo something and elaine low's darth vader hair. and peiyu maybe brian will want u for the ba zhangs hahahah!

first 2 days in school of armour! at first when i reported to the new place i was pretty excited to see yu ern, ivan and weihao's name in the same section as mine! cool leh i could have had 3 friends in the same bunk as me! but soon the instructor selected me to go for some psychomotor test cos they needed ppl to crossover to tank commander course. at first im supposed to be in armour infantry course and learning the bionix vehicle. but yeah i passed the test and crossed to TCC! haha tcc sounds like coffee eh? anw the test was just sitting in this machine to test whether u can coordinate ur 2 hands to turn the turret and aim at a target in the quickest possible time lah. and tall ppl cant be tank commanders too! hahah thats one advantage for me being short.

havent really started learning anything yet. only done a 3km orientation run so far, and lots of talks by all the big shots. and settling stores which took 4 hrs! they said they expect 80% ippt gold and all soc passes for our batch dammit! and gotta run for the army half marathon too. can expect lots of PT sessions during the next 2 weeks liao. and at the last 3 weeks of course, got taiwan training also leh sian. sept to oct lidat.

booked out on fri night tho! was supposed to be as early as 5.30 wan la. but my course warrant is damn naggy and repetitve la! talk about all the basic discipline n stuff can talk until 9pm! then by the time after area cleaning n inspection everything, book out at 10pm liao.

actually was supposed to go airport to meet fawn whos just came back! but cos of the late bookout, obviously missed her flight liao. so met her and rong at serene macs. peiyu left earlier so didnt get to meet her, but sebas came later too. haha fawn bought back some australian doughnuts too! sweeet but nice too. and sebas kept cam-whoring! and he passed me the camera upside down la so i took a pic upside down and now they all think im retarded nehneh! left just in time to catch last bus home yeah. there was only 1 person in the bus some more. listened ipod and fell asleep on the bus. haha i rmb bmt they say not allowed to put on earphone when in uniform but what the heck la. hahaha scarly suay suay kenna caught and charged sia!

hmm but today was boring day la. hope something exciting happens tmr lehhhhh anything but birdshit dropping on my head la ok! hahaha

haha quick update before going to bed! met benny for dinner at novena today. novena cos we havent been there in a really long time, and havent been to the new extension! although i know its been there pretty long. haha. not bad leh i think it could have been a cool after school hangout! after dinner we randomly thought of taking a stroll to jason's old house! haha brought back lots of memories about all the stayovers at his place. like the time we voted for taufik during 1st singapore idol finals. and the man utd arsenal game. and the countless times we laughed like retards watching austin powers hahahaha! "evacuation com- com- com- complet-- com- complete." haha wore the flasher tshirt today! and benny watched pirates with fruit loops already haha i think im the only one left in singapore who havent watch dammit. alright gotta slp now. armour tmr! 1 and half yrs more to ORD. YAY how motivating!

argh i really miss sch alot! haha finally met with kev rong sebas and peiyu this week after a super long time. ok we met twice this week already. but the more the merrier right! hah went to watch shrek with them on vesak day. just before i booked in. i rmb i was rushing like mad after the show ended. had to ask dad to pick me up from potong mrt and stuff. and i was the last one to book in amongst my section mates. when i reach there all the lights were off and everyone was sleepin already! and the retarded leader sergeant major called for HEADS OUT at 12.30 just after i finished changing and brushing my teeth, and was about to plop on my bed! chweeeeebai man. then he asked the whole company to FALL IN. i think the whole coy was prob in dreamland or drool-land hahaha. wah and everyone was damn pek chek with him cos he took almost half an hour to count str and stuff. and we stood there like idiots just waiting for him. anw shrek 3 was GREAT! hahaha the fiona's mum headbutt thru the wall was freakin funny omg! and gingerbread's flashes of his life as he looked into hook's hook! hahhaha. and before the movie we had a few hrs to kill so we had dinner at billy's bomb and watched sebas and peiyu shoot hoops at the arcade. n they played some disappearing prank on me la basket. ok i was probably too blur to notice everyone had happily exited the arcade while i stood there looking at the arcade machines play themselves.

and yesterday night at holland was cool too! was supposed to meet at 8.30. i boarded bus 145 from toapayoh at 7.30. and i thought YAY i would be early for once. but end up i was late again. 30min late. saw rong's new helmet hair hahaha i think quite cool man! and peiyu's lobster sunburnt from kaya-king. haha kaya-king and peter pan peanut butter! and kevin brought indo chips for the girls eehheh why i dont have! sebas really doesnt look like a typical ns guy leh! cool he says now can keep longer hair. and they were telling me how terrible armour is gonna be. yes ive been posted to armour after my sispec bslc. peiyu thinks the tanks turret will keep swinging around even when the tank is idle hahaha! brought my hazelnut cookies too. i think im becoming a pro! but sebas said it smelt like tofu-shit at first hahaha. must be reverse psychology eh? at least rong said it was good, but not as gd as her cupcakes? anw we had fondue and some ice cream (i only ate melon. in fact i finished the entire scoop of melon ice cream cos nobody liked it. i dunno why) at hagen dazZzZzxZxZxzzxzZxzx ok i think im overdoing it! and everyone was so concerned about gaining 5kg after eating all the chocolate and icecream i dunno why hahaha but sebas says im still flabby omg i feel so saaaaad haha kidding! peiyu claims she got muscle sia haha but after all the ice cream it will become ARMOUR of fats hehehe! kevin best la he ran 2.4km when he reached home yesterday!! hahaha midnight run! hahaha quote peiyu "NOO GOT BENGALI IN THE BUSHES!" but i used to do midnight runs quite alot last time during jc days! haha damn i miss those times. collected my school leaving cert from kevin too. haha apparently everyones comments were quite similar! after everything, i took train home with kevin. haha had a nice chat like last time when we used to go home together from malan rd! wah ur a great buddy man! i still rmb once during one of the sch holidays i had hockey trng n u had fitness and u waited till late evening for me hehe gay but i appreciate it man. hahaha makes me feel quite bad about the "orhorrrrr caleb gonna blog about u" incident hahahahahhaha! omg this is a dam long paragraph and my eyes hurt looking the mass of words on top.

before meeting them at holland, went out with khairi. best friend from bmt! super random meeting actually. he asked me online whether i wanted to meet at tp for a game of pool. then ended up we didnt play pool but went to beach rd to sew on his coporal rank. then went to bugis to jalan jalan. which made me end up spending alot of money haha! got this FLASH tshirt. u know the dc comic guy. hahah i thought its quite retarded cos flashers dont wear tshirt! hurhur.

gonna miss my sispec buddies alot too! haha on the 1st week when we entered sispec, we were all forced to plan objectives we wanted to achieve as a section by the end of the course and stuff. and that included all ippt silver at least, all pass soc, and all pass out together as confident commanders dunno what shit lah haha. end up got ppl didnt get silver for ippt, got ppl fail soc. at least all passed out la. alright and gonna miss our sect comd 1SG teo wei kok too! haha one of the nicest instructors ever! just that he got a very wierd way of saying cheebye! as in he nv uses the word chee-bye but he always substitute with another funny word like chee-bong or chee-bay u get the idea. haha! ok the section guys in bed order (funny i nv did this for my bmt buddies):
faris - the one and only malay in our section. fated to go aslc haha. also known as butoh! and hes the one who provided music entertainment in the bunk cos he brought 2 speakers to camp! and usually he plays songs from his n-gage. his favs include RUN, EVE the apple of my eye, IT ends tonight. yea lots of nice songs man! and everytime we march to cookhouse, he is always the freakin last to eat finish! even though the muslim food queue is always so much shorter than our queue. walaoeh everytime have to wait for him then we can march back to company line! hahaha. and he got this wierd habit of eating milo powder.. u know those 3-in-1 packets? omg he can finish 5 packets consecutively! hahah and butoh infection :p
leo - haha the swensens fan! everytime got nights off and we will go to swensens at jp. and he always goes for 1 pint of icecream! quite a strong christian too. and the only one from our section to become leader sergeant major! and the first LSM to knock the whole company down for falling in late! stylo sia!
yong cong - one of the guys i always hang out with! and i always borrow his gameboy to play pokemon. haha! and he was always sort of the leader in our team whenever we go for navigation exercises. owe him alot!
yi yi - omg the most hated guy in our section. went missing from training for 3 weeks due to some neck infection. he missed week 2-4 of training leh. where we learnt how to use all the weapons in the section. and he can still pass out together with us, wah quite a miracle leh. and everytime dam slacker also. like when rifle cleaning he will disappear and ask us clean rifle for him. and when we dont bother, he will make it seem like its our fault for not helping him. and super chatterbox also. dunno when to stop talking! always going on n on about his sad life and what how unfit he was in bmt n stuff. "eh my 2.4 run slowest wan leh u all must encourage me hor. and last time i do zero pull up wan leh must help me ok. eh i missed all the weapon lessons u all must teach me hor" argh. and he is posted to armour too. hope i dont get him as bed buddy man.
jack - my bed buddy! and our bunk ic. haha there was once our bunk key went missing for a few days and we were damn worried about the consequences. cos i was the last one to touch the key before it went missing. but in the end it was inside his admin shorts la basket!! hahaha we were damn relieved when he found it. and his mum always sends me home everytime we bookout on saturdays! n his mum is a mahjong fan also hahahah maybe can intro to kevin.
che lin - haha we always call him LAW cos his surname is seriously law! he looks like a hamster when he runs. and always falling asleep during lectures hah! but he got this weird habit of hanging his socks on the string above his bed every night. haha dun ask me why!
zi heng - the super smart guy! from rv! very helpful guy and always booking out for interviews n stuff man. yay he's going armour too!
ming seng - the ocs crossover! haha really one of the guys who make the section more lively! and armskote ic. and always singing jay chou songs hahaha.
khai yu - not really close to him but know he's really responsible and super on!
barry - the book out king! book out the most for interview n scholarships! and he got a place in medicine walao! captain liao ah.

1 and a half weeks to passing out from bslc! oh man hope i dont get posted to 3SIR. had some interview selection thingy last week for recce commander course. plsss dont post me there! and my bunkmate already received news that he's accepted in nus medicine. ermmm i have no news yet so whats that mean??

just met kanesh for dinner. at the villagee place. haha he was telling me about all the gays in his bunk. and he's in the same platoon n section as me in bmt! ha army talk again. walao he excused from everything leh. excuse rifle excuse push up excuse field camp excuse route march. might as well excuse bmt la!

had grandslam this week. my final field camp. in tekong. on the first day there was some navigation exercise. each team of 4 guys were supposed to find a 4 day and 2 night checkpoints. we found 3 day but no night checkpoints! and the retarded thing was after searching for night cp for awhile to no avail, we just lay down on the track and slept!! hahaha! all the way till 4 plus in the morning. luckily didnt kena caught for sleeping man. the next few days were just missions over and over again. and had a re-night navigation on the 2nd night cos we failed our 1st night navigation. haha and this time we cheated by finding some random checkpoint that was not ours. but we just heck la cos we wanted to quickly go back and sleep. hor-lan!

yeah man had long weekend last week too. but dunno why blogger was screwing up on my comp so i couldnt blog bout it. hehe! went mothers day gift-hunting with charmaine and this saleswoman kept thinking shes my gf or what la. then keep saying what buy this get this free then u can give ur *wink wink*. hahaha what a weird aunty!

had mothers day lunch at red star restaurant. the one with the push cart dim sum! but after that on the way home, for some reason mum and dad startred quarreling. spoilt the entire day leh. then i was thinking how to wish her happy mums also. gd thing in the end everything turned out ok!

had day off on monday so my mum wanted to meet me n sis for lunch at the central. some new shopping mall at clarke quay. quite cool place eh, but still quite empty la. alot of jap restaurants tho. and i stupidly went swimming without bringing small change so had to put $10 in the machine and hear the sound of 9 $1 coins dropping out as change. haha. and went in and realised i forgot to bring goggles as well. but carried on anyway cos i didnt wanna look like some loser who go in the pool for 1 min and come out haha! met charm again after that. oh ya she said i dont look as flabby as last time haha! except for the cheeks which cant change. i dunno why.

there goes my chance of entering medical school. damnnnnnn the interview was freakin tough! sigh. i should have put in more effort researching leh.

kena smoked by tear gas this week. it was real strong! like just a whiff of it was enough to cause me to choke and start tearing. haha could barely open my eyes!

and had ippt too. jumped manyy many times and finally managed to scrape thru a pass for my sbj. was pretty disappointed at first cos i thought can get silver leh. then that night they asked everyone who just got a pass to re-test to get a silver. so i re-tested and YAY managed to jump 225 and get silver!

had urban warfare today. the whole freakin day! which is why we only booked out at almost 10pm. yeah and urban is so retarded. like what u see in tv serials and stuff. minus the kicking of doors la haha. and tmr gotta book in at 8 plus. and it will be field camp again the following day. haha pretty demoralizing. hope no more rain or im definitely gonna get foot rot!
